Congrats Grad!

2 weekends ago I went home to California for 2 very special events- my brothers college graduation and my reunion with Mo! I hadn't seen Mo since our wedding over a year ago, it had been WAY too long. Mo and I chat daily (maybe even more than once) and see each other on Skype too but we have been dying to hang out. She came down from San Francisco so that we could spend the weekend catching up and celebrating Matt's graduation.

I left after work for the airport and didn't arrive to CA until 12:35am but even though by the time we got home it was so late we stayed up for hours talking and catching up. It felt just like the old days! I miss that so much! The next day we spent girls time with my mom getting our nails done and going to look for bridesmaid dresses. We met up for dinner with Matt and the rest of the family for a pre-graduation dinner (and a few margaritas) and got ready for the big ceremony the next day.

They graduated at the Titan Stadium

I miss her already! This was the first time I had seen Mo since her engagement so I loved being able to finally celebrate with her.

I could not be more proud of my brother, he has worked so hard and I was so honored to be able to watch him walk across the stage. I could not stop screaming and taking pictures when I heard his name being called. Congratulations Matt!

The night of graduation my parents hosted a party to celebrate Matt at Il Fornaio in Irvine. It was a wonderful party- delicious food, drinks and family and friends. Everyone got the cutest personalized wine bottles and fresh Ciabatta bread to take home with them.

Karen, Aaron, Mindi, Mo, Me and my Mom. Jeff was unable to make it out, he was busy with rotations in CT but I was so excited that I could see The Siegler's while I was in town.

My Mom

Love my grandparents so much, so happy they could come out from Los Angeles. The following weekend they are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Congratulations Grandma and Grandpa.

I was only in California for about 48 hours, it was a whirlwind trip but definitely worth it.
