Jeff and I on the train heading into NYC for the show
While we were at a BBQ at Rich's in Brooklyn last week he came up with the perfect idea of what to do this weekend- a puppet show! No, not Sesame Street, think more Muppets behaving badly! Its called Stuffed and Unstrung and was created by Brian Henson, the son of famous puppeteer Jim Henson. It was SOOO Hilarious!!! It is basically an improv show with puppets. The improv actors have general skit ideas, take words and themes from the crowd and then use the puppets to perform the show. They had about 50 different puppets they could chose from; bad bunnies, hot dogs, aliens, fish and cavewomen. They came up with raps about fairytales, hot dog paternity tests on Maury Povich, and lots of other raunchy skits. I cannot remember the last time we laughed that hard.

The Bad Bunnies! These are all photos from the Stuffed and Unstrung website, I was so busy laughing hysterically that I forgot to take my own pictures during the show.

If you are in the NYC area you MUST go see this show!! You can even see it over and over again because it is a different improv show every time. After the show we all headed back into Union Square for some bar hopping and food, what a perfect Saturday night!
